Group Purchase
One purchase idea that has proven to be very popular is to divide the cost of the commission between a group of people. Quite often this allows a great painting idea to immediately move forward. By way of example, family members could commission a portrait of their parents as an anniversary gift or for some other special occasion. This resource-pooling approach also makes sense for a group wedding gift or for a select group of individuals from a membership to commission a portrait of their club president or founder. This approach allows for each member of the group to feel a sense of pride and ownership for which they are often recognized as donors of the painting at the time of the unveiling presentation and beyond.
Commissioning A Painting
It is recognized by the artist that commissioning a custom painting from him is a substantial decision. He takes supreme care throughout all phases of the process, including preparing his own wood panels which have an 800+ year archival rating, and frames each completed artwork himself. For a detailed description of this or any other aspect of the portrait commission process, please contact Pinch via email at tom@tompinch.com.
All prices include a gallery quality hardwood frame at no additional cost.
